Jane-Ling Wang is Distinguished Research Professor at the University of California, Davis. Her research interests include survival analysis, functional data analysis and machine learning.  She also enjoys collaborations with domain scientists. 

She is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and was elected Academician of Academia Sinica in 2022.  She will give the Grace Wahba Award Lecture at 2026 JSM, and has served as the co-editor of the Journal of American Statistical Association from 2020 to 2023.
